Advanced CapabilitiesSum Audio from Multiple Gateways: Dispatchers can choose to have audio from multiple Gateways (talk groups, channels, geographic locations) summed and simultaneously delivered through the PC speakers. The user may limit the number of simultaneous calls and prioritize the Locations using the Local Settings window. The selected Gateway audio will be heard through the headset or left speaker and the summed audio of the desired unselected locations will be heard through the right speaker.
SimulSelect: This feature allows a single audio message to be "broadcast" to multiple talk groups or channels simultaneously. Talk groups may be on different proprietary radio systems (SmartNet, EDACS, etc.) and channels may be in different frequency bands (VHF, 800 MHz, etc.). Each simultaneous talk group and channel requires a separate Gateway.
Record and Playback Calls: Listen to recent calls without external recording equipment. The record and playback capability provides information about the recorded call, including the caller, callee, time, date, and stored filename of the recorded message and a box to click to playback the transmission. Call Tagging: Mark important calls with key phrases. Dispatchers can type up to 50 characters and associate this message with each voice recording. Scan Between Radio Gateways: IP|J-Smart allows the remote PC user to scan the audio of multiple Radio Gateways as an alternative to summing it. Each remote PC can set its own unique priority for monitoring the audio of different talk groups, channels, and geographic locations.
View Activity of Multiple Groups: The Global View window in IP|J-Smart presents the current status of multiple Radio Gateways. View the group or channel that each gateway is monitoring. Get real-time call indications from multiple Radio Gateways.
Supervisor Controls: The system administrator can designate which PC users are “Supervisory Users” and which are “Standard Users.” Supervisors can change systems and groups and jump to the top of the queue when the radio is busy. Standard users cannot change systems or groups but, like Supervisors can make private calls.
PC Private Call: PC users may make a private call that other PCs do not hear. Other PCs see the call activity but do not hear the audio from that Radio Gateway.
Search and Sort User Directory: PC users may search and sort the directory of radios by first name, last name, alias, UID, department, or default system. Searching and sorting allows PC users to quickly identify a radio for a private call.
Sort Call History: The Call History window may be sorted by caller (radio or PC), callee (group, channel or individual radio), time, date, and type of call. Sort this display by type to determine which radio declared an emergency. Sort by caller to see the calls made by a single radio.
Private Call Favorites List: PC Users can create their own favorites list of radios. This drop-down menu allows workers to quickly make a private call to frequent contacts.
Quick Reply: Quickly call a radio by right clicking his entry in the Call History window. This powerful tool allows PC users to identify and contact a recent radio user.
Encryption Control: Easy selection for Clear or Encrypted transmission on Encrypted enabled talk groups.
Talk-Around Control: Quick control for Talk-Around mode.
