New users can be quickly brought on line to more rapidly serve your customers. Each Remote and each Gateway can be uniquely configured, allowing the systems administrator to customize access.
Provide a professional tool for your company’s dispatchers for managing fleet operations, coordinating critical operations, directing construction activities, or stream-lining delivery services.

Enhance Radio Asset Management. Catalyst's products provide password control of radio access to prevent unauthorized acccess. Accountability is provided with recordings of each audio segment, and call logs that are archived into daily files on the Radio Gateways and on the Remotes. The call logs can be used to generate air time usage reports and other insightful analysis Audio recordings can be replayed from the remote PC or other devices, and can be easily transferred to others for analysis. PC users can be quickly added, removed, or provided a new set of privileges from a central location.
Communications Through Alternative Radio System: Catalyst’s products support a variety of frequency bands and over-the-air protocols that can be simultameously monitored from a single Remote PC and patched to your existing radios. A local SMR or utility might serve as a backup for your dispatch radio system. By interfacing one of the SMR or utility’s radios to a Gateway, Remote PC users can gain access to that other system. Network Access Radio™ and IP Tone™ can operate with radios from many manufacturers. IP Radio™ uses the Ericsson Orion Radio. This radio is offered in conventional and EDACS® trunking modes for VHF, UHF, 800 and 900 MHz. IP Fleet uses the Kenwood 80 or 150 Series radios for LTR, Conventional, and FleetSync on VHF, UHF, 800 and 900 MHz. Remote PC users can set up patches between your existing channels and the back-up channels to provide continuous operations.

Newsflash |
Catalyst Introduced Console, Presented Technical Track at IWCEThursday, February 28Catalyst once again introduced a ground-breaking innovation at IWCE. Robin Grier, the President of Catalyst, was joined by Major Steven Williams of the Florida Highway Patrol to discuss “Disaster Recovery, Pushing the Envelope with Wireless IP.” The Florida Highway Patrol has created a Mobile Command Vehicle that provides the full functionality of a primary dispatch center with three independent methods of network connectivity to other locations – a first. FHP officers can drive the vehicle to any location – inside or outside the state -- and begin dispatching in minutes if a hurricane, fire, or other disaster disrupts or even completely eliminates the local facility. Discover how the Florida Highway Patrol provides a flexible response to evolving communications needs across the state, allowing first responders to link any of 500 talk groups and conventional channels for federal, state, and local agencies in virtually any combination, instantly. Management issues including operational and contingency plans will be discussed.
