Catalyst has a long history of installations that interface to Motorola radio systems including P25, SmartNet®/SmartZone®, MotoTrbo, and conventional. The feature sets vary with the interface from PTT only to advanced features such as Unit ID and Emergency. Catalyst supports wireless interfaces into Motorola radio systems through a variety of control stations wireline control to base stations using the digital v.24 protocol (like the Quantar), EIA Tone Control,  and wireline control for P25 trunking using the Console SubSystem Interface (CSSI).

As a result, Catalyst consoles and interoperability solutions can communicate with Motorola systems, and create interoperability scenarios between Motorola SMARTNET® II/SmartZone® , P25, and MotoTrbo radio systems and most other radio systems including EDACS, LTR, NXDN, DMR, MDC 1200, other P25, etc.  Contact Catalyst for more information.
